So, today Muslims across the globe celebrated Eid, which is the day which marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan, in which Muslims believe the Holy Quraan was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Eid is a day where many culteral and common practises are performed. Woman may apply henna, people attend the Mosque for a special Eid prayer, and lots of special food and cakes are made. Families gather together, as well as communities.
I hope all Muslims who celebrated Eid had a memorable and blissful Eid. However, I also sympathize with those out there who may face hardship, such as the Palestinian people who found it difficult to celebrate due to the rising deaths, and I pray that they are guided to a better and peaceful future – and that goes for anyone who is in hardship.
I kept it super casual compared to many people, as I had quite a simple and low key Eid this year:)
